Fast-rolling Schwalbe Big Apple tyres are well suited to street use, while powerful Shimano hydraulic disc brakes offer huge reserves of stopping power, whatever the weather. The carbon fork helps keep weight down and the steering reassuringly precise. And slick Shimano Essa 1×8 gears are easy to use and give you the range you need to get around town easily.
The Hyde draws inspiration from our 29er mountain bike hardtails to create a sleek, tough, frame that’s at home in the urban jungle. Double-butted aluminium tubes build a structure that’s strong, durable, light and lively. Neatly integrated luggage carrier and mudguard mounting points make it easy to customise, and there’s room for two water bottles for longer rides at the weekend. The lightweight full carbon fork is the perfect accompaniment, offering precise steering to match its low weight and understated looks.
